Water Reservoir Lining

Sean Carr Lining installed the lining system to a water reservoir for a main contractor on a utilities site in Manchester spanning an area of 122,000m2. It took up to 12 technicians, 10 weeks to install the holding reservoir. The holding reservoir stores water to be released in a controlled manner to drinking water treatment plants/reservoirs. The job involved installing a geosynthetic clay liner, a 1-5mm HDPE geomembrane liner and a sandmat geotextile protector.
