Why you need Suds Pond Liners

The installation of a suds pond is increasingly a general requirement for new build housing estates, industrial parks and car parks to prevent flooding. They have a larger capacity than an attenuation tank and provide the ideal cost-effective solution to allow controlled release of large stored water volumes.

In areas where water is now unable to drain freely into the ground without waterlogging or flooding risks, this requires a suitable man-made solution. Excess water from heavy rainfall or riverbank breaches can be easily stored by creating a suds pond. New developments need to plan for suitable suds ponds to reduce this risk. The suds pond releases the water back into the environment in a controlled way.
