Landfill Capping

Sean Carr installed a geosynthetic clay liner and a 300g geotextile protector to an old landfill to prevent water ingress and contain methane gases for harvesting. It took 2 TWI/CSWIP technicians around 8 weeks to complete this project in West Yorkshire which spanned an area of 90,000m².
